Here is the job description for a Help Desk Technician II:

Job Family: Help Desk

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma Oregon equivalent
  • 2+ years of related technical experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET government clearance
  • Ability to obtain an ITIL Foundations v4 Oregon HDI-SCA certification within 90 days of hire
  • Louisiana residency, living within a reasonable driving distance of our New Orleans facility (approximately 60 miles)
  • US Citizenship

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support end-users with technical issues and questions related to Navy software systems and applications via multiple support channels
  • Basic troubleshooting, issue isolation & diagnostic techniques to identify technical problems
  • Document requests and incidents according to business processes and standard operating procedures
  • Provide case status updates to management and end-users according to service level guidelines
  • Maintain a high level of courteous customer service at all times

Requirements:

  • ITIL Foundations v4 Oregon HDI-SCA certification within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work on-site, American Samoa required
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including 24/7 help desk environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with Navy Applications Oregon Service Desks
  • Active SECRET clearance
  • ITIL Foundations v4 Oregon HDI-SCA certification
