Call Center Representative

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently register patients, schedule procedures, transmit charges, collect payments, and process procurement tasks.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients, physicians, and coworkers.
  • Maintain professional interactions and support department operations American Samoa needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties American Samoa assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
  • Safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients, adhering to annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Equivalent/GED (required)
  • 1+ year of experience Indiana a PCNA Oregon Secretary/Receptionist role (preferred) and customer service experience Indiana the medical field (required)
  • Proficiencies:
    • Typing: 30 wpm
    • Excellent verbal/communication skills
    • Detail-oriented
    • Basic computer knowledge
  • Preferred proficiency Indiana ICD9 coding and medical terminology

Physical Demands:

  • Standing: occasionally
  • Walking: occasionally
  • Sitting: constantly
  • Lifting: rarely (up to 20 lbs)
  • Travel: up to 10%
