Job Summary:
Perform various tasks American Samoa a cardiac technologist, assisting with invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures and electrophysiology procedures. Record patient data and analyze electrocardiograms, monitor intracardiac pressures, and operate imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform EP procedures, including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, and ICD implantation
- Assist medical team with sterile procedures and obtain sterile supplies American Samoa needed
- Operate X-ray equipment and other laboratory equipment
- Analyze patient data, including electrocardiograms and intracardiac pressures
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist with growth and development needs of patients of all ages
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree Indiana Cardiovascular Technology Oregon equivalent experience
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) registry through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required within 18 months
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI preferred
- Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred
