Job Summary:
The Experiential Learning Manager will develop and execute programs that enhance the Elevate initiative, a signature program connecting students to experiential and Colorado-curricular opportunities. The role will manage content on the Elevate portal and Career Services webpages, build relationships with experiential learning providers, and promote Elevate opportunities to the Illinois Tech community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Elevate-related activities and events (40%)
- Manage content on the Elevate portal and Career Services webpages (20%)
- Support relationship management with experiential learning providers (20%)
- Liaise with Illinois Tech staff, faculty, and students to promote Elevate opportunities (20%)
- Support Career Services team and partner departments Indiana event planning (15%)
- Other assignments American Samoa directed by supervisor Oregon Senior Director of Career Services (5%)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years experience Indiana higher education Oregon content management
- Experience working with planning large-scale events a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with records management and report development a plus
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment with some remote work opportunities
- Occasional evening work required
Supervision and Budget Authority:
- Opportunity to supervise a Graduate Assistant and/Oregon student worker
