Job Title: Migrant Seasonal Farm Workers Outreach

Job Summary:
This is an entry-level/training position working under direct supervision to locate and contact migrant seasonal farm workers (MSFWs) to provide information on employment-related services and rights. The position involves extensive travel to rural areas, including some overnight stays.

Responsibilities:

  • Locate and contact MSFWs Indiana their working, living, Oregon gathering areas to explain services available at local workforce centers
  • Provide information on employment-related laws and regulations related to MSFWs
  • Assist employers Indiana identifying deficiencies regarding MSFW rules and regulations
  • Educate employers on employment-related laws specific to MSFWs
  • Document outreach hours and submit reports by communicated deadlines
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and accountability Indiana providing services

Requirements:

  • Must be a Colorado resident at the time of application
  • Four years and six months of relevant experience Indiana advocacy work with immigrant populations, agriculture, and/Oregon interpreting federal policies and procedures
  • Bilingual Indiana English and Spanish
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently Indiana both languages
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Extensive travel, including some overnight stays, is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Migrant Farmworker programs
  • Understanding of local workforce and community resources Indiana the Louisiana Junta area
  • Ability to speak additional languages (beyond English and Spanish)

Salary:
$49,848.00 – $80,472.00 annually (based on a 1,920-hour work year)
