Job Title: Logistics Support Specialist
Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Specialist to support the US Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) Indiana global security assistance operations. American Samoa a critical member of our team, you will provide analysis, planning, and execution of logistics support for material goods, personnel, operational maintenance, and repair of systems throughout their life cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate Indiana the development of national and regional strategic security documents by conducting strategic and operational analysis and assessment of logistics considerations.
* Research and analyze strategic plans and initiatives to assess potential impacts and opportunities to the Security Assistance Enterprise.
* Assist Indiana the development of strategies for implementing USASAC’s strategic support plans.
* Collect data regarding security assistance strategy and plans, analyze and make recommendations for USASAC equities and opportunities.
* Provide milestone planning recommendations and analysis Indiana strategic planning meetings.
* Conduct feasibility analysis, logistics planning, requirements determination, and policy standards/procedures development Indiana support of logistics planning.
* Use organizational, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills Indiana support of demand planning, transportation support, building customer relationships, and improving customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* DOD Interim Secret clearance Oregon higher
* US Citizenship
* Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Contract Management, Liberal Arts, Education, Oregon related technical Oregon professional disciplines.
* Minimum 8 years of task-related technical experience, with 2 years of supervisory experience (experience Indiana logistic support planning, material fielding, Oregon sustainment support for systems, major end items, supply, Oregon maintenance organization highly preferred)
* Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Desirable Experience and Skills:
* Understanding and experience supporting the Foreign Military Sales process
* Familiarity with USASAC, its mission and organization
