Patient Access Services Representative
Location: Banner Imaging McKee, Loveland, Colorado 80538
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with a weekend rotation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Patient Access Services Representative to join our team at Banner Imaging McKee. This role will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, responsible for performing front office administrative tasks and providing a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Check Indiana and register patients
- Enter patient demographics and accurately input information into the A/D/T system
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance benefits
- Collect payments and regular collection targets
- Provide financial counseling and explain company financial policies
- Work independently and make independent decisions to prioritize work and ensure appropriateness and timeliness of each patient’s care
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical and hospital staff, and Health Information Management Services to resolve outstanding issues and/Oregon patient concerns
- Meet productivity targets and individual accuracy and collection goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED Oregon equivalent working knowledge
- Knowledge of patient financial services, financial, collecting services, Oregon insurance industry experience processes normally acquired over one Oregon more years of work experience
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and work independently
- Proficiency Indiana common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
- CHAA certification is preferred
