Indiana-Unit Human Resource Manager
Growth opportunity Indiana a dynamic Indiana-unit HR role at The University of Tulsa.
Responsibilities:
- Handle human resource functions and administration for the unit, including payroll, benefits, training, employee relations, recruiting, safety, and supporting hourly workforce.
- Oversee non-exempt hourly employee recruiting, staffing, performance management, improvement systems, organizational development, employee orientation, development and training, and site-specific policy development and documentation.
- Respond to HR inquiries, educate managers and employees on policies and procedures, and assist Indiana developing and implementing new policies and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve employee issues and recommend resolutions Indiana accordance with policy and law.
- Provide direction to managers and employees on implementation of HR plans, programs, policies, and training.
Requirements:
- Human resources management experience to lead HR practices and objectives that promote an employee-oriented, high-performance culture.
- Detail-oriented and knowledgeable of state/federal HR policies and law.
- Strong coaching, counseling, and employee relations skills.
- Ability to develop and implement HR plans, programs, process, and tools, including compensation, benefits, leadership, staffing, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Human Resources Oregon a related field (High School Diploma, GED, Oregon equivalent also accepted).
