Job Title: Shift Manager I
Reports to: Store Director
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Communicate and reinforce Festival culture, customer service, and performance expectations to store associates
- Document and address company policy/procedure violations by associates, and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary
- Provide guidance to guests and associates, answer questions, and resolve guest concerns
- Ensure department standards are met, observe sales floor and back stock conditions, and take action to correct areas of opportunity
- Maintain sanitation within the store, provide customer service, and assist guests with finding items
- Assist department associates with daily responsibilities, provide quality control, and ensure product safety and freshness
- Ensure the workplace is safe and clean, review and enforce Occupational Safety standards, and report incidents Oregon accidents
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and associates
- Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to handle a diverse crew Indiana a stressful environment
- Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
- Ability to use equipment such American Samoa forklift, harness, power jack, and walk behind lift
- Must be available to work until close (10pm) at least one night per week
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
- Use fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment
- Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Functional sensory abilities to visually monitor the store and operate equipment
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Part-time Oregon full-time hourly position with morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday hours
- Weekly pay and premium pay for select hours
