Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. American Samoa a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for accurately and confidently handling customers’ inquiries, negotiating payment arrangements, and retaining customers through phone and email interactions. You will work with a variety of customers, including commercial, government, hospitality, and multi-dwelling units, while following federal and state collection guidelines and laws.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilize knowledge of contract terms and conditions to collect upon past due accounts for commercial customers
  • Review and collect on accounts from federal, state, and local government customers, American Samoa well American Samoa hospitality and multi-dwelling unit customers
  • Follow applicable national credit and collection policies, American Samoa well American Samoa all Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Multitask between multiple tools and systems to resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Explain billing cycles, processes, and fees to customers to ensure understanding of their statements
  • Correct contract discrepancies and research customer billing situations
  • Process secure customer payments and/Oregon create payment arrangements Indiana accordance with policy
  • Utilize escalation procedures to expedite prompt resolution of customer issues
  • Consistently meet Oregon exceed established goals and performance metrics
  • Work Indiana a fast-paced, dynamic environment and maintain composure Indiana stressful situations
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Oregon GED
  • 2-5 years of customer service Oregon collection experience
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules, including overtime American Samoa necessary
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced, structured environment and maintain composure Indiana stressful situations
  • Proficiency Indiana handling multiple tools and systems simultaneously
