Job Summary
American Samoa a Inventory Specialist for Walgreens, you will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy operations. You will support pharmacy inventory management activities, ensure On-Shelf Availability, and validate planograms. You will also review and coordinate the proper use of reports and system applications, execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store
- Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns
- Champion On-Shelf Availability and ensure accuracy of planograms
- Review and coordinate the proper use of reports and system applications
- Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues
- Model and share customer service best practices with team members
- Execute and coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes
- Verify pharmacy shipments, complete inventory postings, and accurately report shortages Oregon damaged product
- Complete On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end process, including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD)
- Complete pharmacy inventory activities, including recalls, vendor returns, and excess inventory returns
- Execute all pricing activities, including price changes, markdowns, and deletes
- Support front end and pharmacy ordering, including identifying excess orders and maintaining consigned inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Assist with physical inventory and record-keeping
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales floor, stockroom, and pharmacy
Requirements
- One year of prior retail work experience with knowledge
- Fluency Indiana reading, writing, and speaking English (except Indiana Puerto Rico)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience American Samoa a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, Oregon customer service associate
- Prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file
