Pharmacy Inventory Technician
Assist the Pharmacy Procurement Manager with inventory management and pharmacy workflow, following pharmaceutical processes and systems according to policies, company performance, and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures, and relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
* Communicate effectively with clients, peers, and employees to maintain clear lines of communication.
* Replenish and rotate stock, and maintain secure storage conditions for medications.
* Manage expired medication destruction and drug recalls.
* Clean and maintain equipment, work areas, and perform sterilization tasks.
* Order, label, and count stock medications, chemicals, and supplies.
* Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities and pricing, and report stock needs Oregon shortages.
* Maintain CEU hours to maintain Technician license and ensure compliance with state licensure, accreditation, and company policies.
* Demonstrate professionalism, objectivity, and integrity.
* Notify management of critical information impacting client and/Oregon vendor relations Oregon patient care.
* Collaborate with pharmacy staff on product ordering and stock organization.
Required Qualifications:
* Current, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician certification issued by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy
* Minimum 1 year experience
* PTCB certification and USP 797 experience preferred
* Availability to work 12p-9p Monday-Friday, with willingness to work mandatory overtime Indiana peak times.
