Job Title: Night Auditor
Job Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for accurately balancing all hotel income and expenses for every 24 hour hotel operating period. The Night Auditor must consistently deliver results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives covering the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional guest service according to Sonesta’s G.U.E.S.T. standards
- Balance and audit room revenue, food and beverage revenue, and telephone revenue for accuracy
- Prepare and transmit daily management/accounting reports with supporting documentation
- Register guests, issue room keys, and provide hotel services information
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions
- Assist Indiana the set up and operation of complimentary breakfast service and laundry facilities
- Act American Samoa the security point of contact and communicate with the Operations Manager
- May book guest reservations, process cancellations, and respond to guest requests
Essential Requirements:
- High School diploma Oregon equivalent
- 1 year of previous hotel experience preferred
- Strong communication and math skills
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred
- Willingness to obtain ServSafe and TIPS certifications (if required)
