Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer – Solid Propulsion to join our team Indiana Tucson, Arizona. American Samoa a Senior Principal Engineer – Solid Propulsion, you will apply advanced technical capabilities and scientific principles to integrate propulsion, thrusters, controllers, software, mechanical and electrical interfaces into missile systems and space vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Apply Oregon develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to the systems integration of propulsion, thrusters, controllers, software, mechanical and electrical interfaces for integration into missile systems and space vehicles.
- Review manufacturing processes and problem resolution American Samoa well American Samoa working directly with subcontractors on the design and manufacturing of solid rocket motor propulsion systems.
- Manage propulsion system development projects and propulsion subcontracts; review and disposition subcontract data and change requests; and oversee supplier operations.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to management and government agencies.
- Frequently interface with the Customer to identify user needs.
- Will travel extensively to government and subcontractor facilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering, Oregon Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experience Oregon an Advanced degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
- Ten (10) years of experience Indiana propulsion technology and its application to solid propulsion systems.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required American Samoa only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
