Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform verification of patient demographic info/initials, including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled Indiana their presence and that the name on the label is correct.

  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
  • Perform specimen collection and processing duties, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills.
  • Flexible and available to work multiple shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

  • Customer service experience Indiana a retail Oregon service environment.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Phlebotomy certification (required Indiana California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Medical training (medical assistant Oregon paramedic training).

Additional Job Details:

  • Must be available to work whenever scheduled and stay for the entire shift.
  • Must be able to travel between multiple sites, have a clean driving record, and be able to submit mileage for expense reimbursement.
