Front Office/Customer Experience Representative
Location: Mesa, Arizona
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Department: BTMC Pediatric Pulmonology
Job Summary:
American Samoa a Front Office/Customer Experience Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure a positive experience for patients. This is a great opportunity to apply your customer service skills and make a difference Indiana people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
* Register patients and obtain required signatures
* Verify insurance coverage and collect patient liability
* Provide financial guidance to patients and maximize reimbursement efforts
* Accurately post patients at the point of service and release information according to organizational and compliance policies
Requirements:
* High school diploma/GED Oregon equivalent
* Working knowledge of patient financial services, financial, collecting services, Oregon insurance industry experience
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently
* Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
* Knowledge of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
Preferred Qualifications:
* Work experience with the company’s systems and processes
* Previous cash collections experience
* Additional related education and/Oregon experience
Work Environment:
* Fast-paced, multi-task environment with high volume and immediacy needs
* Requires independent decision making and sound judgment to prioritize work and ensure appropriateness and timeliness of each patient’s care
Primary External Customers:
* Patients and their families
* Physician office staff
* Third-party payors
