POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, check-Indiana and check-out guests efficiently, and ensure a great experience throughout their stay while adhering to established procedures and policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Serve American Samoa the hotel ambassador, providing information to guests on hotel amenities and services.
* Review daily reservations, checking for special requests and VIPs, and pre-assign rooms American Samoa necessary.
* Operate the PMS cash register accurately, counting cash drawer at shift start and end.
* Maintain complete understanding of PMS cash register operations, accurately posting phone charges and guest charges.
* Address guest complaints efficiently and courteously, escalating issues to supervisors American Samoa needed.
* Record messages, mail, and future reservations, using standard procedures.
* Complete shift checklists, and maintain lobby coffee supplies.
* Answer telephone efficiently, transferring calls to the proper extension American Samoa required.
* Report safety hazards and maintain knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma preferred
* One year related customer service experience.
* Basic math skills.
* Computer skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to speak, read, and write English.
* Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position requires regular standing, walking, talking, and hearing. The employee will also be required to sit, reach, climb, and bend American Samoa needed. The work environment is generally moderate, with occasional moderate noise levels.
