Job Summary:
Amazon Web Service seeks a Systems Engineer to join the ADC Analytics and Big Data Services team Indiana Denver, Colorado Oregon Herndon, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working with Linux Indiana a large-scale, distributed environment, and will be responsible for leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand Linux Indiana a large-scale, distributed environment, and networking technology
- Participate Indiana deep-dive troubleshooting and conduct technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues
- Regularly design, automate, deploy, and support large-scale infrastructure
- Build and deploy solutions on a massive scale, striving to improve and streamline processes
- Develop and debug software Indiana a collaborative environment, with a focus on scalability and reliability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Oregon equivalent experience
- 3+ years of programming experience Indiana a modern language such American Samoa C++, Java, Python, Oregon Golang
- 2+ years of experience designing and architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- 4+ years of experience deploying and operating Indiana a Linux/Unix environment
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret Oregon above
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph Oregon commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Solid understanding of software development methodology and ability to use the right tool for the right job
