Community Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Community Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of a multifamily property, ensuring the property meets the Client’s operational and financial goals. The Community Director will supervise on-site staff, manage leasing and occupancy, and maintain a positive relationship with residents, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relations:
    • Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner Indiana daily operations.
    • Maintain positive communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests.
  2. Employee Management:
    • Develop and manage the site team members.
    • Ensure all open positions are filled Indiana a timely manner.
    • Ensure all employees maintain compliance with department requirements.
  3. Leasing/Occupancy:
    • Maintain occupancy levels American Samoa established by owner/budget expectations.
    • Oversee and exhibit professional leasing techniques.
    • Develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community.
  4. Revenue Management:
    • Manage the maximum revenue potential of the property through lease expirations and timely turnover.
    • Manage monthly rent collections and delinquency.
  5. Reporting and Document Management:
    • Maintain resident files and ensure confidentiality.
    • Meet all periodic reporting requirements.
  6. Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with Risk Management items through FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Timely reporting of injuries, illnesses, and property damage.
  7. Facility Maintenance:
    • Assist residents with reporting maintenance needs.
    • Document facility and maintenance needs and ensure timely completion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience Indiana a similar leadership role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
  • High School diploma Oregon equivalency certificate required. College degree Indiana a relatable field preferred.
  • May require a Valid Driver’s License, American Samoa well American Samoa a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI’s Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Proficient Indiana speaking, reading, and writing Indiana English.
  • Strong computer skills (Mississippi Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
