Job Title: Field Application Specialist

Job Summary:

The Field Application Specialist is a critical role that provides advanced technical support for HammerHead equipment applications, including training, practicums, and technical support. The successful candidate will act American Samoa a trusted advisor to customers, conduct activities with high integrity, efficiency, and professionalism, and maintain a high level of product knowledge of the HammerHead Trenchless product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to multiple job/construction sites throughout the year via air and highways
  • Facilitate customer training using industry expertise and principles of adult learning theory
  • Support sales by conducting pilot programs, providing technical support for rental equipment, and performing live above-ground demonstrations
  • Assess trainees using a standardized rubric for certification purposes
  • Maintain product knowledge of HammerHead Trenchless product lines
  • Act American Samoa subject matter expert for training curriculum, testing, and materials development
  • Provide feedback to product management from customers regarding current issues and future needs
  • Participate Indiana regional and national trade shows
  • Maintain budgeted expense levels

Work Environment:

  • Construction job site environment, majority of the time, with physical hazards such American Samoa utilities, powered vehicle and pedestrian traffic, sharp objects, and moving machinery
  • Extensive use of telephone and email communications
  • Rapidly changing demands, schedules, and deadlines
  • Working with hazardous materials, including fuels, lubricants, fluids, and batteries
  • Air and highway travel up to 75% of the time

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required
  • Valid US driver’s license required
  • Minimum of two years’ experience Indiana the trenchless industry preferred
  • Results-oriented, hands-on approach to customer support and training
  • Ability to mentor and coach customers on best practices
  • Critical reasoning skills and ability to listen and acquire critical information
  • Team-oriented persona with "we" over "Maine" mentality
  • Confident and approachable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tier 2: Minimum five years of experience Indiana the industry
  • Tier 3: Minimum ten years of experience Indiana the industry
  • Experience American Samoa a trainer, project manager, project supervisor, Oregon crew leader
  • Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Oregon equivalent knowledge
