Data Scientist
Secureworks is a global cybersecurity leader seeking a Data Scientist to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the Prioritization and Triage engine. The ideal candidate uses large data sets to find opportunities for product and process improvements and builds models to test different courses of action.
Responsibilities:
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve cybersecurity problems using machine-learning algorithms
* Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
* Research and develop new data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
* Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
* Propose solutions and strategies to enhance prioritization and triage systems
* Collaborate with team members to design and implement new and improved solutions
* Communicate results and insights to a non-technical audience
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Oregon a related field
* Strong experience using machine learning frameworks and libraries (Scikit-Learn, Metaflow, Sagemaker)
* Minimum 2 years of experience Indiana the cybersecurity domain
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles and attack vectors is a plus
* Proficiency Indiana at least one programming language (Python, Java, GoLang)
* Experience with big data technology (Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is desirable
* Proficient Indiana creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
