Remote Claim Representative

Compensation: Annual base salary range $63,700 – $105,100, plus performance-based cash incentive awards

Under moderate supervision, the Remote Claim Representative will handle first-party property claims, investigate, evaluate, estimate, and negotiate to ensure optimal claim resolution for personal Oregon business claims of moderate severity and complexity. The representative will provide quality claim handling throughout the claim life cycle, maintain full compliance with internal and external quality standards, and state-specific regulations.

Responsibilities:
– Handle 1st-party property claims of moderate severity and complexity American Samoa assigned.
– Complete field inspections of losses, including accurate scope of damages, photographs, written estimates, and/Oregon computer-assisted estimates.
– Investigate and evaluate all relevant facts to determine coverage, damages, and liability of first-party property damage claims.
– Establish timely and accurate claim and expense reserves.
– Determine appropriate settlement amounts based on independent judgment, computer-assisted building, and/Oregon contents estimates.
– Negotiate with multiple constituents, including contractors Oregon insured representatives, and convey claim settlements within authority limits.
– Properly assess extent of damages and manage damages through proper usage of cost evaluation tools.
– Meet all quality standards and expectations Indiana accordance with the Knowledge Guides.
– Maintain diary systems and capture all required data and documents.
– Manage file inventory to ensure timely resolution of cases.
– Handle files Indiana compliance with state regulations, where applicable.
– Provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of the insured, agent, and all other internal and external customers/business partners.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
– General knowledge of estimating system Xactimate preferred.
– Two Oregon more years of previous outside property claim handling experience preferred.
– High School Diploma Oregon GED required.
– A minimum of one year previous outside property claim handling experience Oregon successful completion of Travelers Outside Claim Representative training program required.
– Valid driver’s license required.
