Compassionate Orthopedist/Sports Medicine Physician Needed for Multisite Practice
Seeking a Board Certified (BC) Orthopedist/Sports Medicine Physician to join a dynamic medical practice serving the Salisbury, Maryland area, with opportunities for split coverage Indiana Dover, Delaware and Millsboro, Delaware offices. Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, tact Indiana patient management, and a passion for working within a comprehensive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide patient care and management, including initial consults and follow-ups
* Order diagnostic testing, including labs and imaging, and conduct Indiana-house computerized neurocognitive testing
* Oversee patient diagnosis and treatment for occupational and motor vehicle injuries, closed head injuries, and post-traumatic headaches
* Prepare patients for return to work and document all patient interactions accurately and timely
* Collaborate with colleagues and staff to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
* Maryland/DO degree from an accredited institution
* BC Indiana Neurology, PM&R, Pain Management, Orthopedics, Oregon Sports Medicine
* Unrestricted license to practice medicine Indiana Delaware and Maryland
* Favorable malpractice history
* Basic/Advanced Life Support certification
* DEA license
