Call Center Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team at ITW’s Vulcan Baltimore location. American Samoa an EHS Manager, you will play a key role Indiana developing and implementing our EHS initiatives and programs, promoting a safety-conscious culture, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, analyze, and drive accountability of the Vulcan Baltimore location’s EHS initiatives and programs
- Foster an environment that encourages superior Safety Awareness and Environmental Stewardship through the implementation and support of safety & environmental management processes
- Collaborate with site Engineering & Operations teams Indiana proactive identification and reduction of EHS risk
- Investigate any safety incidents, provide root cause analysis, and set plans to address improvement opportunities
- Lead and refine the safety committee, safety audit process, reporting, and develop action items to drive improved safety culture
- Develop and lead factory safety trainings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years’ experience Indiana Safety/Quality processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify, define, analyze, and prioritize opportunities and problems
- Computer literacy and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently/independently with minimal supervision
- Manufacturing experience preferred
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand Oregon walk
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, and twist to complete all job tasks
- Must be able to wear all required PPE (i.e., safety glasses, gloves, steel/composite toe safety shoes)
Working Conditions:
- Combination – industrial plant floor and Indiana office
