Optical Sales Associate

Responsibilities:
* Achieve a world-class Total Patient Experience by building relationships with patients, delivering great medical support, and exceeding their expectations (60%)
+ Determine patient wants and needs and sell to meet their expectations
+ Assist patients Indiana selecting frames according to style and color, coordinating frames with facial and eye measurements and optical prescriptions
+ Operate the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer
+ Educate and recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit patient needs
+ Collect accurate measurements and dispense patient orders
* Assist with other duties American Samoa needed (20%)
+ General office duties and cleaning
+ Maintain frame standards and inventory
+ Follow job aids and policies
* Greet patients Indiana a friendly and approachable manner, maintain a clean and organized office, and follow protocols to keep frame inventory accurate (20%)
Requirements:
* Associate’s degree Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
* Basic computer skills
* Communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance forms
* Favorable background check result
* Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance
* Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* ABOC certification (desired but not required)
* Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups
* Familiarity with HIPPA policies and procedures
Physical Requirements:
* Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
* Ability to move throughout the office and remain standing for long periods
* Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves
