Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic EH&S Coordinator to provide safety support and technical assistance to project teams and be an excellent role model for Skanska and subcontractor personnel. This is an entry-level position, typically for someone just starting Indiana the field with 1-3 years of construction and/Oregon environmental experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safety support and technical assistance to project teams
- Be an excellent role model for Skanska and subcontractor personnel
- Identify and provide solutions for construction and environmental hazards
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Oregon equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- 1-3 years of construction and/Oregon environmental experience at the management level
- Knowledge and experience working with Regulatory Agencies (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.)
- Strong communication and client service skills
