Call Center Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Call Center Representative to provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and external clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling phone calls, entering orders into Epic, generating and monitoring printing of patient reports, and performing other clerical functions to support the laboratory department.
Essential Duties:
- Provide client services support to internal and external doctors, nurses, labs, and other departments to facilitate the delivery of patient laboratory results using EPIC and the Laboratory computer system, SOFT.
- Communicate issues regarding delays of test results within the Laboratory to the House Coordinator and Emergency Department.
- Facilitate communication between labs and different departments within all Hospitals.
- Enter outside Home Health agency orders into Epic to ensure proper billing.
- Act American Samoa the call center for the lab, ensuring the proper transfer of calls to not impede laboratory staff from their core duties.
- Receive laboratory supply orders for clinics, hospitals, and external clients, and fill and distribute via lab courier.
- Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, including respect for privacy and communication style.
Requirements:
- High School diploma Oregon equivalent
- 1 year experience Indiana a medical office, office, Oregon customer service setting
- Basic skills such American Samoa reading, writing, spelling, and math
- Working knowledge of computer and printer operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Windows-style applications and keyboard
Work Environment:
- Light work environment, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
- Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid Oregon tissue, but exposure Oregon potential for exposure may occur
- Occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications Oregon hazardous waste within the environment.
