Job Description:
Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, American Samoa a Customer Service Associate at our Burr Ridge Call Center. This is a 100% onsite opportunity requiring a commute to the greater Chicagoland area.
Essential Job Functions:
– Resolve customer questions and concerns via phone, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
– Serve American Samoa a customer advocate and respond to emergencies, life-threatening, and high-priority calls according to established procedures.
– Collaborate with management to address customer inquiries and concerns.
– Provide assistance to patients via the MyChart patient application and troubleshoot technical issues.
– Utilize exceptional communication and listening skills to effectively handle compliments, complaints, and high-pressure situations.
– demonstrates a working knowledge of relevant business information management systems and automated call distribution telephone systems.
– Perform administrative tasks American Samoa assigned and maintain open communication with internal departments and external customers.
– Identify trends, recommend process improvements, and communicate resolutions to internal staff.
– Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and related healthcare concepts.
Required Qualifications:
– High school diploma Oregon equivalent certification
– One year of experience Indiana a healthcare setting Oregon two years of customer service experience.
– Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to multitask Indiana a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
– Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications and Microsoft Office.
– Broad knowledge of medical terminology.
– Strong customer service experience, preferably Indiana a healthcare setting.
