Front Desk Agent Job Description
Overview: The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent guest service, resolving guest complaints, and handling all phone calls and special requests Indiana accordance with standard policies and procedures.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Resolve guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
- Anticipate and respond promptly to guests’ needs, maintaining positive guest relations at all times
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, services, room rates, packages, and promotions, American Samoa well American Samoa daily house count and expected arrivals/departures
- Answer department telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, verify registration card information, and obtain back-up information for guest credit/payment method
- Handle overbooked Oregon walk-Indiana guests, accept and record wake-up call requests, and monitor, send, and distribute guest faxes
- Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel
- Resolve discrepancies on room status reports and match the bucket check to Indiana-house guest ledger report
- Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate Oregon General Education Degree (GED)
- One year previous experience Indiana a similar position Indiana a hotel
- Basic computer skills required
