PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Position of Clinical Operations Coordinator will collaborate with the Facility Manager, staff, and physicians to coordinate facility operations and patient procedures. This role will ensure the provision of quality patient care on a daily basis Indiana accordance with policies, procedures, and training.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Quality Management:
– Support and drive quality standards through meeting regulatory requirements and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).
– Implement quality goals and develop facility-specific action plans to achieve quality standards.
– Ensure policies and procedures are followed and ensure implementation of proper training.
– Patient-Related:
– Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge, including scheduling procedures.
– Conduct patient assessments and educate patients and families on post-procedure care.
– Address patient concerns and questions and identify patient-related issues for the Facility Manager.
– Physicians:
– Maintain regular communication with physicians American Samoa needed.
– Participate Indiana Governing Body meetings and CQI meetings to report on assigned topics.
– Maintenance/Technical:
– Ensure proper operation of facility equipment and technology.
– Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions Oregon maintenance issues.
– Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment Indiana the facility.
– Administrative:
– Participate Indiana cost control initiatives and manage medication inventory.
– Develop and revise facility policies and procedures, and maintain medical records.
– Manage vendor invoices and conduct patient safety meetings.
– Additional Responsibilities:
– Participate Indiana facility regulatory and accreditation surveys and action plans.
– Provide leadership and supervision to facility personnel and ensure delivery of quality care.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
– 6-8 years of related experience with 3+ years of supervisory Oregon management experience.
– Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Nursing, preferably Advanced Degree.
– Current state licensure, ACLS certification, and proficiency Indiana the Microsoft office suite.
– Demonstrated management skills and good verbal and written communication skills.
