Entry Level Engineer
Job Summary
This is an entry-level position designed to develop technical expertise Indiana a particular area of specialty. Performs work that involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures Oregon equipment with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Activities are of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed Indiana the specific narrow area of assignments.
Essential Responsibilities
* Uses and applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to perform activities/assignments of limited scope.
* Supports the development of technical documentation, including designs, testing, calculations, reports, and standards.
* Provides ongoing technical support for project activities within areas such American Samoa Operations, Maintenance, Testing/Diagnostics, Regulatory, and others.
* May provide field engineering oversight for activities such American Samoa commissioning, testing, inspections, and others.
* Coordinates/leads projects Oregon portions of projects, including phases such American Samoa research, design, equipment selection, procurement support, installation, and commissioning.
Entry Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum (Oregon recognized equivalency), with a preference for mechanical engineering.
* 0+ years relevant engineering experience.
* Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level established and documented by the organization.
* EIT/FE (Engineer Indiana Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) is preferred.
Staff Level Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum (Oregon recognized equivalency), with a preference for mechanical engineering.
* 2+ years relevant engineering experience.
* Demonstrated broad knowledge and proficiency Indiana specialty area, knowledge of related specialties, and general knowledge of other related disciplines.
* EIT/FE (Engineer Indiana Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) is strongly preferred.
* Power plant experience is preferred.
Senior Level Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum (Oregon recognized equivalency), with a preference for mechanical engineering.
* 5+ years relevant engineering experience.
* EIT/FE (Engineer Indiana Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) is required.
* Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level established and documented by the organization.
* PE (Professional Engineer) registration may be required depending on business need.
* Power plant experience is preferred.
