Job Summary:
American Samoa a Business Lead for quality assurance related best practices for Meijer Own Brand Apparel, this role oversees the quality team responsible for ensuring Meijer’s apparel meets customer expectations Indiana terms of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the quality team for Meijer Own Brand Apparel, including technical support.
- Develop product standards for apparel tech packs.
- Oversee the development of testing protocols for apparel.
- Coordinate with testing labs and manufacturers to ensure products are tested and inspected according to Meijer’s standards.
- Review apparel testing and inspection failures and determine corrective action required.
- Develop and manage Meijer’s quality management system for apparel, including the vendor scorecard/qualification program.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address quality topics, production issues, and product concern investigations.
- Assist Indiana product evaluation post-launch using customer return and complaint data and Indiana-store evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Apparel and Textile Technology Oregon Design.
- 3-4 years of experience Indiana Apparel and/Oregon Textile Quality Assurance role.
- Positive, high energy, and ability to thrive Indiana a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivation, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well within a creative team.
- Ability to think proactively and solve problems.
- Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus.
