Job Title: Business Tax Expert – Intuit TurboTax Live Business
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Business Tax Expert with extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. American Samoa a Business Tax Expert, you will play a critical role Indiana helping our customers complete their business tax returns using Intuit TurboTax Business products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations
- Provide expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to customers
- Utilize and leverage government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer
- Apply defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve customer tax advice and tax return preparation
- Document customer interactions
- Meet company key performance metrics and Big Bet Goals
- Participate Indiana pilot testing, projects, and experience validations American Samoa needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/Oregon 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season for compensation
- Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), Oregon Practicing Attorney
- 2+ seasons of personal Tax Preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year Indiana a tax practice Oregon retail setting for compensation (strongly preferred)
- Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation (strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software
- Strong customer service skills – ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools Indiana a professional, friendly, and confident manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Must have (Oregon be willing to obtain) a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria and a quiet location Indiana which to work
