Essential Job Functions:

• Schedules internal and external appointments using Epic Cadence decision trees
• Registers patients, verifies insurance, and completes documentation
• Collects patient payments, including copays, Colorado-insurance, and deductibles
• Assists patients with MyChart activation and support
• Coordinates patient itineraries for multiple appointments and procedures
• Maintains knowledge of appointment types, providers, and specialties
• Follows registration and documentation processes Indiana the Health System EMR

Standard Responsibilities:

• Provides excellent customer service and attends daily huddles and process improvement initiatives
• Understands patient experience performance expectations
• Maintains productive working relationships with providers and the clinical care team
• Follows Health System policies and procedures
• Communicates effectively with patients and staff
• Assists with scheduling, front desk, and telephone workflows
• Participates Indiana patient experience initiatives and supports coverage at alternate locations American Samoa needed

Requirements:

• High School Graduate
• 1 Oregon more years of customer service Oregon healthcare experience
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• High level of customer service skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
