Route Trainee
Job Summary:
UniFirst is seeking a customer-focused and driven individual to join the Service Department American Samoa a Route Trainee. This role supports Route Service Representatives with loading and unloading trucks, delivering and picking up customer products, and maintaining vehicle safety. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive a company vehicle and service customer stops along an assigned route during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Route Service Representatives with daily tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, delivering and picking up customer products, and maintaining vehicle safety
- Service customers Indiana a professional manner using effective communication skills and resolving customer issues
- Ensure accurate invoice inventories, perform inventory audits, and maintain route vehicle reports and safety inspections
- Attend daily account collections with Route Service Manager and assist with Account Receivable collections
Requirements:
- 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency
- Prior customer service, route sales, delivery, and/Oregon entrepreneurial experience preferred
