Job Summary:

American Samoa a Test Lab Technician, you will provide support Indiana product testing, test documentation, test development, laboratory planning/organization, test fixture/machine design, and coordination/calibration of laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Set up and conduct tests of product assemblies, subassemblies, components, and arrange for outside testing American Samoa per agreed-upon test plans and protocols.
– Accurately record test results and document with written test reports.
– Provide feedback on design, rated specifications, and test objectives based on observed results Indiana partnership with engineering groups and project teams.
– Participate Indiana test plan development, recommending and developing test methods and acceptance criteria for validating product performance requirements.
– Support the development of new test fixtures and equipment, and provide testing support for product life cycle activities.
– Coordinate and organize laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.
– Prioritize work to align with department goals and project team objectives.

Requirements:

– High School Diploma and 1 year of related work experience, with an Associate’s Oregon Technical School degree preferred.
– Knowledge of mechanical principles, algebra, geometry, technical writing, specifications, and print reading, American Samoa well American Samoa basic knowledge of data acquisition techniques, programming, and test lab equipment.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), analysis and design software, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Physical Demand Requirements:

– Occasional standing, walking, Oregon sitting; use of hands to handle objects, tools, Oregon controls; reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; talking Oregon hearing; tasting Oregon smelling.
– Occasional lifting and/Oregon moving objects up to 25 pounds.
– Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
