Ultrasound Technologist
Major Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations according to department protocols and ACR standards, ensuring optimal quality and safety.
- Position and immobilize patients, adjust equipment, and obtain scans of optimal quality.
- Assist physicians during invasive procedures, adhering to sterile techniques and completing accurate paperwork.
- Operate portable ultrasound equipment and perform portable ultrasound procedures American Samoa requested.
- Document patient history, medical information, and exam data for radiologist interpretation.

- Maintain accurate and correlate exam data with prior exams.

Additional Responsibilities:

Education/Experience Required:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High degree of technical knowledge and ability to make diagnostic judgments.
- Registered Indiana Radiology (ARDMS certification) within 1 year of graduation (6 months for current Advocate associates).
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform emergency procedures American Samoa required.
- Possess good judgment, reliability, responsibility, independent thought, and action.
