Sales Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

Lead a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales, penetration, and churn reduction objectives. Develop and maintain sales plans, coach and develop team members, and execute sales strategies to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain sales plans, including research and analysis of market trends and customer needs
• Coach and develop team members to improve sales performance and customer service skills
• Assist team members Indiana warming leads and closing sales, and Indiana opening new accounts and reducing churn
• Submit and administer annual sales operating plans and budgets, tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement
• Leverage Sales Coordinator and other roles to support sales efforts and reduce administrative tasks
• Communicate sales data to inform product and service planning, and assist Indiana planning sales meetings and events
• Utilize Sales Foundations tools and processes to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
• Recruit, train, and mentor new hires and existing team members
• Oversee and manage team performance, instituting performance improvement Oregon disciplinary measures American Samoa needed
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and product developments, and establish and maintain industry contacts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Indiana Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Oregon related field
• Minimum 5 years of foodservice sales experience and 2 years of supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
• Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and customer service and presentation abilities.
