Job Title: Pharmacy Pharmacist

Job Objectives:

  • Provides pharmacy consulting services to patients, offering guidance on medication usage, awareness of drug interactions, and preventive and clinical healthcare services
  • Maintains regulatory compliance, company policies, and procedures for proper medication compounding, dispensation, review, and verification
  • Supports efficient pharmacy workflow and assists the pharmacy manager Indiana optimizing pharmacy financials, inventory management, and patient experience

Job Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Engage patients with excellent customer service, resolving issues Indiana a timely manner, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience
  • Model and share customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive and joyful experience
  • Connect with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services, promoting the shift from transactional to interpersonal service

  • Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, and refers to medical providers American Samoa needed
  • Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management
  • Ensure the pharmacy operates Indiana accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards; assist pharmacy manager with establishing procedures for efficient workflow
  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy systems, workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and point of sale registers
  • Process insurance claims to resolve patient issues and prevent payment rejections; follow up with insurance companies and medical providers
  • Perform clinical and wellness services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, disease state management, and other healthcare services
  • Assist pharmacy manager Indiana analyzing performance data, including pharmacy financials, customer service, and implementing procedures for pharmacy asset protection and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain good connections with local medical communities, participating Indiana community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business
  • Partner with centralized support for patient registration, exception resolution, and assist with resolving patient issues; conduct virtual product review Indiana virtual environments

People & Performance Management:

  • Assist Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training; reinforce direction and provide constructive feedback, monitoring customer service and fostering team member development
  • Promote teamwork and motivate team members by establishing expectations, monitoring and recognizing progress, and fostering a shared vision

Training & Personal Development:

  • Maintain current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification American Samoa established by federal and state regulations
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare by reading journals, company publications, and communications; pursue best practices to enhance performance
  • Obtain necessary certifications, education credits, and training, including learning modules, American Samoa required by the Company

Communications:

  • Support Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager by communicating relevant corporate health and wellness services Oregon strategy information to pharmacy staff
