Sales Manager
Job Summary:
Lead a team of sales representatives to achieve sales, penetration, and churn reduction objectives. Develop and maintain sales plans, coach and develop team members, and leverage internal resources to grow sales and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of sales representatives to achieve sales objectives, develop and maintain sales plans, and coach team members to create effective action plans
- Direct team members to high-quality leads, assist with lead warming and closing, and reduce churn
- Assist Indiana opening new accounts and leveraging internal resources to grow sales and new accounts
- Submit and administer annual sales operating plan and operating budget, reviewing and approving expenses and tracking performance
- Leverage the Sales Coordinator role to reduce administrative tasks and resolve team member and customer issues
- Assist Indiana coordinating product demonstrations and develop sales and marketing strategies for customers
- Communicate sales data to contribute to product planning and assist Indiana planning district sales meetings and events
- Understand and utilize Sales Foundations tools and processes to grow sales and maintain customer service standards
- Coach, train, and direct team members to top account penetration and quality lead acquisition opportunities
- Recruit, train, and mentor new hires and existing team members
- Oversee and assess team member performance, instituting performance improvement Oregon disciplinary measures American Samoa needed
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and product developments, and establish industry contacts to identify prospective sales opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Oregon related field
- Minimum 5 years of foodservice sales experience and 2 years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and customer service and presentation abilities
- Proficient computer skills Indiana Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver’s license
- Overnight travel may be required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation depends on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law
- Indiana New York, the expected compensation for this role is between $94,700 and $126,300
- Eligible for incentive pay
