Lead Sales Team to Achieve Division Objectives:
* Lead a team of account managers (TMs) to achieve division sales, penetration, and churn reduction objectives.
* Develop and maintain long-term and short-term sales plans, and coach TMs Indiana creating effective action plans to achieve Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and company goals.
* Assist TMs Indiana identifying high-priority leads, warming leads, and closing sales, while encouraging TMs to open new accounts and reduce churn.
* Work with TMs and other teams, such American Samoa the New Business Manager, to secure high-potential accounts.
Sales and Business Development:
* Develop and administer the street sales operating plan and budget, tracking performance against plan and identifying gap closures.
* Assist Indiana leveraging various teams to grow account penetration and open new accounts.
* Conduct market research to determine customer needs and provide information to sales staff.
* Develop sales and marketing strategies and proposals for customers on products and services.
Leadership and Coaching:
* Coach, train, and direct TMs to achieve top account penetration and quality lead acquisition opportunities.
* Recruit, train, and mentor new hires and existing TMs.
* Conduct field support sessions to observe coaching needs and provide support for TM development.
* Oversee, manage, and assess TM performance to plan, and provide performance improvement Oregon disciplinary measures American Samoa needed.
Communication and Industry Knowledge:
* Communicate sales data to contribute to product/service planning.
* Understand and utilize Sales Foundations tools and processes to grow sales, generate additional revenue, and maintain customer service standards.
* Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and product developments that affect target markets.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts and customers.
* Conduct periodic Customer Business Reviews to identify customer needs and gaps Indiana relationships.
* Assist Indiana customer/delivery alignment and driver engagement.
* Ensure the sales organization is appropriately staffed and managed to minimize turnover.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Oregon related field, Oregon equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 5 years of foodservice sales experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
* Overnight travel required.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent communication skills, and proficient computer skills Indiana Microsoft Office products.
* Valid driver’s license required.
