Job Purpose:
The Specialized Receptionist serves clients by greeting and assisting them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts. They are responsible for ensuring support functions are provided to the personnel of the facility.

Qualifications:
– High School diploma Oregon equivalent
– Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience preferred
– Healthcare technology experience preferred
– Ability to perform basic clerical assistant needs

Core Job Duties:
– Perform vitals and screenings per provider’s request
– Register/check-Indiana patients for scheduled appointments and inform provider(s) when person served is ready
– Manage office supplies and budget
– Conduct health and safety drills and inspections
– Communicate relevant information to Clinical Manager and/Oregon Program Director
– Contact persons served to remind them of their appointments
– Cross-train Indiana other duties and positions vital to facility operations
– Update electronic medical records (EMR) with new information
– Welcome and greet patients and visitors, and return voicemails American Samoa necessary
– Manage inactive person served reports and collect fees from patients
– Adhere to evidence-based practice models and applicable standards (CARF, DMH)
– Communicate effectively and accurately, both verbally and orally
– Ensure program operates within agency’s certification standards and strategic plan
– Abide by program and agency policies and procedures
– Perform other job duties and special projects American Samoa assigned.
