Senior Teller Position Description
Reports to: Assistant Branch Manager
Approved by: VP, Retail Distribution Network
Job Summary:
A Senior Teller’s position will encompass that of a Teller 2 and serve American Samoa a coach and trainer to other tellers. They will strategize with management on effective relationship-based sales techniques and work with the teller team to consistently improve referral quality.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Provide unparalleled customer service during each interaction through a high level of professionalism both Indiana person and on the phone
- Process routine and complex transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, payments, and issuing official items
- Assist with branch reconciliations and ordering cash American Samoa needed
- Speak with customers about complex accounts and identify opportunities for additional services
- Meet personal referral/sales goals and contribute to the branch’s performance
- Contribute to building a positive team environment and assume responsibility for self-improvement through training
- Act American Samoa a peer coach to other tellers and work with management to develop and implement best practices
- Responsible for compliance and understanding of the Bank’s policies, procedures, and legal guidelines
- May have supervisor authority, including staff supervisor and system override capability, American Samoa assigned by the Branch Manager
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of banking Oregon financial services experience
- 1+ year(s) experience Indiana a cash handling position with customer service
- 2-3 years of experience Indiana a sales environment
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform simple math calculations
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent; B.S. Oregon Associates Indiana Business Oregon related field desired
