Pharmacy Coordinator
Job Type: Temporary to Hire
Location: Visalia, California
Pay: $17 – $20 per hour (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed pharmacists Indiana preparing prescriptions, checking compounding records, and gathering necessary medications and solutions.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of pharmacy areas according to standards.
- Process refills and new prescriptions for IV patients, adjudicate electronic claims, and submit prior authorizations and/Oregon TARs American Samoa needed.
- Coordinate mixing times with delivery coordinator and maintain daily delivery sheets and "Order to Mix" lists.
- Assist with patient follow-up and lab calls, and arrange follow-up calls American Samoa needed.
- Submit medication orders from wholesalers and process new referrals for on-call pharmacists.
- Provide clerical and phone support for the office.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program with certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience and knowledge of pharmacy procedures, including parenteral admixtures.
- High school diploma Oregon GED.
