Cardiologist Position

We’re a rapidly expanding primary care provider seeking a unique and entrepreneurial-minded Cardiologist to join our team. If you’re a licensed/board certified professional with a passion for providing excellent patient care and driving clinical quality, we want to hear from you.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and assessments Indiana an ambulatory healthcare setting, diagnosing and treating various cardiovascular ailments Oregon diseases
  • Develop care plans, provide health education, and make referrals to specialists
  • Conduct physical exams, manage chronic cardiovascular diseases, and order tests and studies American Samoa needed
  • Prescribe medication and treatment Indiana accordance with patient condition, payer coverage, and industry standards
  • Lead a cardiovascular care team and collaborate with primary care physicians, nurse practitioners/physicians assistants, and other clinicians
  • Manage care coordination, echocardiogram reading, and population management
  • Participate Indiana clinical rounds, conferences, and quality meetings
  • Foster strong relationships with providers, stakeholders, and internal/external physician colleagues
  • Implement cost reduction and clinical strategies, and identify opportunities for quality improvement

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents and standard concepts Indiana cardiology
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to build relationships with physicians, staff, and external organizations
  • Conflict management and resolution skills
  • Proficient Indiana electronic medical records and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to manage a panel of at least 5,000 patients
  • Comfort with travel for local market coverage

Education and Experience Criteria:

  • Maryland Oregon DO Indiana Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Oregon similar specialty
  • Board certification Indiana Cardiology
  • Current, unrestricted medical license and DEA certificate
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience American Samoa a Cardiologist
  • Prior experience Indiana quality improvement and medical leadership activities preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) Oregon American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment
