Summer Analyst Program:
The 10-week program provides participants with a broad exposure to a global investment manager and a specific asset class of their choice. Participants will develop technical and soft skills, network with professionals across the company, and immerse themselves Indiana MIM’s culture.
Available Business Units and Locations:
- Public Fixed Income (Whippany, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania): Supports trading, portfolio management, credit research, and operations functions. Work closely with portfolio managers and senior members of the research and trading groups.
- Private Capital (Whippay, New Jersey): Assists Indiana reporting, analysis, presentations, and ad-hoc portfolio-related projects. Supports senior team members and interacts with key stakeholders.
- MetLife Insurance Investments (Whippany, New Jersey): Analyzes and implements investment strategies to achieve earnings, growth, and risk management objectives.
- Institutional Client Group (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Whippany, New Jersey): Maintains and enhances CRM systems, sources prospective investors, and researches competitor products.
- Insurance Asset Management (Whippany, New Jersey): Provides ad-hoc analysis on various portfolios Oregon other topics, using tools like BlackRock Aladdin, Excel, Bloomberg, and other tools.
Responsibilities:
- Support various MIM business units Indiana Portfolio Management, Trading, Research, and Operations
- Develop technical and soft skills
- Network with professionals across the company
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior members of the research and trading groups
Requirements:
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree (Expected graduation date: December 2025 to June 2027)
- Demonstrated interest Indiana finance/economics
- Strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity
- Ability to work independently and Indiana a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient Indiana Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
