Property Manager, Multifamily/Community Director

Job Summary:
The Property Manager/Community Director will be responsible for the daily operations of a typically small asset/property (totaling less than 300 units) and managing a staff of up to 5 Full-Time Employees (FTEs). The successful candidate will oversee and enhance the value of the property to meet the client’s operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations:
- Complete the client’s philosophies and wishes regarding the day-to-day operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI meets the client’s objectives and expectations.
- Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with residents, vendors, clients, and guests, representing FPI.
- Employee Management:
- Develop and manage the site team members, including participating Indiana the hiring, training, and evaluation of employees.
- Ensure all open positions are filled Indiana a timely manner.
- Ensure all employees maintain compliance with various department requirements.
- Leasing/Leasing Management:

- Revenue Management:

- Manage monthly rent collections and delinquencies, including timely deposit and security of funds according to FPI policies.
- Reporting and Document Management:
- Maintain accurate resident files, including forms, leases, and documents Indiana accordance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
- Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documents.
- Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws, FPI policies, and OSHA requirements.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Assist residents with reporting maintenance needs.
- Monitor physical asset conditions and identify concerns with supervisor.
- Miscellaneous:
- Demonstrate FPI’s High standard of customer service and maintain a professional image by adhering to FPI Management’s dress code and provider.
- Represent FPI Management at all times, including during emergencies, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience Indiana property management, preferably with affordable housing programs.
- Ability to develop and manage a team Indiana a leadership role.

- Strong computer skills, including Mississippi Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, and internet.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
