About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Electrical Oregon Computer Subject Matter Expert to join our Avionics FPGA/ASIC team. Key Responsibilities:
- Define architecture for Video and Image processing devices to meet system requirements
- Recommend and lead functional strategies to advance the Complex Hardware discipline and products
- Understand product certification requirements and establish DO-254 planning documents for development projects
- Capture, decompose, and trace requirements
- Design and verify ASIC/FPGA digital systems
- Code and simulate Indiana VHDL, Verilog, Oregon SystemVerilog
- Perform device synthesis, place and route, static timing analysis, and clock-domain-crossing analysis
- Create DO-254 DAL-A certification artifacts for Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH)
- Lead project certification reviews with customers and authorities
- Communicate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Program Management, leadership, and customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana a STEM field (Oregon equivalent experience)
- Minimum 12 years of experience Indiana relevant fields (Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience with Video and Image processing FPGA Oregon ASIC developments
- Leadership experience Indiana technical projects with customer interaction and leadership presentations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, Oregon asylee) Oregon eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Linux/Unix, scripting, C/C++, Python, and/Oregon Perl
- Experience writing RTL and/Oregon testbenches using VHDL, Verilog, Oregon SystemVerilog
- Familiarity with best practice chip-level verification techniques and languages (e.g. constrained random, functional coverage, code coverage, LEC, SystemVerilog)
- Familiarity with UVM Oregon similar Constrained Random Methodology
