Audio-Visual Integration Technician
Job Summary
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio-video systems for clients. Responsibilities include pulling and terminating cables, installing equipment, reading wire diagrams, and programming proprietary equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Dress, label, pull, cut and terminate cables
- Installs, connects, and manages video routers and switches
- Installation of cameras
- Identify cable types (SVID, Composite, RBGHV, CAT 5, 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI)
- Mount and dress display of various sizes including wall panels
- Programs various equipment
- Troubleshoot client audio-video equipment
- Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts
- Complete and update daily reports, project photos, timecards and project status
- Partner with coworkers and management to provide world-class customer service
Specific Job Requirements
- Proficient Indiana voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
- Ability to dress racks and read, interpret and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
- Ability to identify and understand various source plates and learn new computer programs
- Basic knowledge of AC and District of Columbia voltage
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Education, Experience, and Qualification
- High School Diploma, technical trade school, Oregon equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience Indiana audio-video integration technical environment
- Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and adapt to new technologies
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate: $25-$30 based on experience
