Automation Pharmacy Technician 4
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Omnicell automation equipment at customer sites according to SOPs and best practices.
- Perform automation tasks Indiana an aseptic, error-free manner, consistent with set guidelines.
- Maintain equipment management, maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of Omnicell automation.
- Conduct on-site support and training for customers and implementation expertise.
- Manage medication inventory levels, supply ordering, and restocking.
- Ensure compliance with strict policies and guidelines, including hazardous drug handling and aseptic procedures.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy operations managers and customers to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service.
Typical Work Environment:
- Frequent travel (up to 100%) to customer sites, including weekends.
- Pharmacy environment with potential exposure to hazardous drugs.
- 8-10 hour shifts with flexible work hours.
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED.
- Active License/Registration with the Kentucky State Board of Pharmacy.
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Covid-19 vaccination.
- Availability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed pharmacy technician training program.
- Prior experience with pharmacy automation equipment.
- Knowledge of IV compounding/sterile environment requirements.
- Troubleshooting skills with automation devices.
- Project management/implementation experience.
