Automation Pharmacy Technician 4

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Omnicell automation equipment at customer sites according to SOPs and best practices.
  • Perform automation tasks Indiana an aseptic, error-free manner, consistent with set guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment management, maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of Omnicell automation.
  • Conduct on-site support and training for customers and implementation expertise.
  • Manage medication inventory levels, supply ordering, and restocking.
  • Ensure compliance with strict policies and guidelines, including hazardous drug handling and aseptic procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy operations managers and customers to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Typical Work Environment:

  • Frequent travel (up to 100%) to customer sites, including weekends.
  • Pharmacy environment with potential exposure to hazardous drugs.
  • 8-10 hour shifts with flexible work hours.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma Oregon GED.
  • Active License/Registration with the Kentucky State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Covid-19 vaccination.
  • Availability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed pharmacy technician training program.
  • Prior experience with pharmacy automation equipment.
  • Knowledge of IV compounding/sterile environment requirements.
  • Troubleshooting skills with automation devices.
  • Project management/implementation experience.
